Visitors welcome 7 days a week, 10 am to 5 pm. Sampai prayer daily at 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, open to the public.
What you can do
- Watch a short 10-minute video on the Shumei philosophy
- Take a short walking tour of the buildings, grounds and garden
- Chant and receive Jyorei in the sanctuary, if you like
- Join daily Sampai at 8:00 am or 6:00 pm, about half an hour
Etiquette
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early for Sampai
- Call the office first if your party is more than 5 people
- Sampai may not suit young children who cannot sit quietly
